Technique to Forget Someone you Love

In my time as a bachelor, I never missed opportunities. That resulted in countless breakdowns—some from people who were meaningful to me.

Love is soooooo complex. It has an instinctive root — we need sex as we need food, drink, and go to the bathroom. Okay, without water or food, we die. That doesn’t occur without sex (I think). But processing in the brain goes through the same paths. That’s why love is so irrational.

The fact that it is ingrained in this instinctive part of the brain makes us unable to forget a person, stop wanting to be close, etc. And the big problem is that we don’t control the intuitive part of the brain, only the upper one, who is submissive to the instinctive.

So… What to do?

When I faced my first colossal love disappointment, I was desperate. I lost ten pounds and didn’t want to eat. I just couldn’t live without her (sounds familiar, right?). But it is not possible to force someone to like you… Just like love is irrational on our side, it is irrational there, too. So… The way out was to forget. Removing that figure that brings me massive anguish in my chest every time I wake up. I then started to create a technique. And it worked!

That’s it:

Whenever your mind materialized an image of the loved one… THINK ABOUT SOMETHING ELSE…
